Putting simply, Detox stands short for “Detoxification”, which is a term for eliminating toxins from your body. It is simply a strict kind of diet, dedicated to removing toxins from your bloodstream. Now, it could be that you just said that “it sounds difficult”, and in most cases, not wrongly.

Yet, here we have a much more of a “humane” detox plan for you, one that you should not be fretting in trying it out for yourselves.

Oh and if you’re not sold just yet, we should also mention that this plan also helps in removing future fat and any excess water from your system!

Step 1: The Preparations
Just as in any other kind of diet, making preparations is an important part of the process, the groundwork if you will.

When it comes to detox diet you should stop consuming any kind of dairy product for at least 2 days prior the detoxification process.

For most, if not all of us, it is hard on our bodies to digest dairy products, something that could very much thwart your detoxing process, which can be very frustrating to realize only when you’re just about to complete your three day diet plan.

Step 2: Diuretic Drinking
The night before you begin your detox plan, you should drink a homegrown diuretic drink (tea is highly recommended).

Two measures of Dark Forest tea should do the trick. Doing so will help you cleanse your digestive system of any kind of poisons, ensuring that you’ll still be able to achieve some success behind the bathroom doors.

Step 3: If Life Gives You Lemons…
The following morning, be sure to drink lemon water before you drink or chuck down those cereals as a power of habit. The lemon juice should be consisted of two lemons and a half cup of water.

We know, it sounds delicious already.

Step 4: Finally, Juice
You should be thrilled to hear that after drinking that lemon water and eating your breakfast, all that is now required of you is to drink one and a half cups of pineapple/grapefruit juice.

The reason is that both possess a plentiful amount of antioxidants, which will serve you respiratory system quite well.

Sounds extremely easy after drinking that lemon juice, doesn’t it?

Step 5: Another Serving Of Juice
If you’re still thirsty, you’re in luck, since you should also drink between one and one and a half cups of carrot juice, between breakfast and lunch. The reasoning this time is that carrot juice is beneficial to your respiratory tract.

Step 6: And… More Juice
Well, you couldn’t expect any different than more drinking, could you? Drinking is known to be a substantial part of a detox plan. This time, you will be drinking one and a half cups of some juice that’s rich in potassium, during lunch. You can find a high concentration of potassium in beets, avocado, bananas…

Potassium will serve as a beneficial factor in cleaning your body.

Step 7: Detox From Mucus
Guess what? Instead of juice, we’re back to tea again! You should drink mucus-cleansing tea one hour before dinner time.

Ingredients that should make their presence inside the tea are: peppermint, rose hips and ginger. This should help you prevent mucus build up as well as congestion.

Step 8: Juice Up For Bedtime
Just in case that you were missing juice, you should drink 340 ml of cranberry juice before heading for bed. Cranberry juice will help against bacteria in your lungs.

All of these steps should be repeated for the next two days as well. So drink well, and happy cleansing!
