Make It Yourself: Homemade Marigold Oil – Healthy Positive Mind –
Marigold is highly valued because of its healing properties. It stimulates circulation, helps in the treatment of purulent wounds and ulcers, soothes inflammation of the skin, prevents scarring, heals burns especially of the sun, clean oily and problematic skin, it nourishes dry skin prone to eczema, cure fungal diseases skin and is used in symptoms with varicose veins and hemorrhoids, and in gynecology.
Due to the presence of pro-vitamin A, it is helpful in psoriasis. It is really very useful to have at home.
You can make marigold oil yourself.
Marigold oil against wounds, lichen, eczema, impetigo, hemorrhoids, burns, festering ulcers and fungal diseases of the skin:
1. Pick marigold flowers and leaves in the late morning.
2. Chop them finely and place in a glass jar.
3. Pour with cold-pressed olive oil, close the jar and leave in a sunny and warm place to stay for 4-5 weeks. Stir occasionally.
4. Strain through double gauze and store in a glass bottle in a dark and cold place.
Attention: Marigold oil easily oxidized. Therefore, careful use and before each use check whether it changed color or odor.
Oral use: two tablespoons a day before meals for sensitive stomach, ulcer of stomach and duodenum. Outdoor use, marigold stimulate regeneration of cells and can be used for all kinds of skin wounds.
Balm against varicose veins:
Heat half kg of lard over low heat. When fully melted, add two hands fresh marigold flowers and a handful of dried, green, prickly husks of horse chestnut. Allow to foam, remove from the fire and stir 5 minutes.
Cover and leave in a cool place to stay for 24 hours. Then over low heat gradually warm up while stirring constantly. Strain through gauze and store in a jar.
Keep in a dry place.
Anoint veins with this ointment every night, massaging.
